Here are several new releases that caught my attention this morning. When I saw the new Joe Satriani release it gave me a real feeling of nostalgia. I haven’t really listened to him in almost two decades, but I was reminded of when I was just barely a teenager and how blown away I was by his Surfing With The Alien album. I decided to Google search Joe to see what he has been up to which made my feeling of nostalgia go straight to depression. In less than three months Joe Satriani will be 56 years old. DAMN IT, I”M GETTING OLD!! I can feel a midlife crisis coming on, better tell the wife to hide the credit cards and freeze the checking account.

The film will be available on 2D and 3D Blu-ray as well as standard definition DVD. The soundtrack was produced by Satriani and Mike Fraser and will also be available on the same date (mp3). CD audio format will be available on April 24, 2012.
